Mark Smith is a Cincinnati native who lives with his partner Chris Ohmer and their calico cat, Lil Ginger, in Maineville, Ohio. He is a PMP Certified Project manager with IBM in the role of Project Executive, managing one of IBM’s larger outsourcing contracts in the Cincinnati area. He has a strong passion for the Mercedes-Benz brand, but is also very interested in other luxury brands (mainly older cars from the mid 1960’s and older - Cadillac, Lincoln, Chrysler, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Packard etc.). Mark owns a 1986 420SEL (burgundy with oxblood leather) that was special ordered from Walker Mercedes Benz in Hyde Park.  Mark purchased a 1984 Mercedes 300D (Nautical blue with blue tex), which the previous owner had for 25 years. This car brings back great memories for Mark; the smell of the interior takes him back to the late 70s. The 300D received an Award of Distinction ribbon from the Ault Park Concours d’Elegance. Mark’s most recent addition to his garage is a 1993 300CE cabriolet (signal red with black leather) that he purchased from the original owner in Lexington, Kentucky. Mark loves learning about the personal history of each car and hearing the familial stories associated with each one. Mark’s passion for older Mercedes-Benz vehicles will continue to grow (as he is always shopping!).

Peter lives in Montgomery, Ohio with his wife, two dogs, and usually a friend visiting from out of town. He is a Project Manager for Bilstein, working hard to make the shocks on your Mercedes-Benz the best in the world. Peter is an avid Ohio State University fan. In his home you will find a Buckeye Hall of Fame man cave, complete with a shutout to his beautiful wife’s OSU Homecoming Court appearance in 2006. Peter has loved cars since he played with Hot Wheels as a child (often throwing them down the track and into the wall for max power!). In his twenties, Peter’s automotive tastes refined and he became a Mercedes-Benz enthusiast, hoping to never conclude with a last purchase. When he's not at work, you can find Peter at MBCA events or at home working on his cars, doing yard work or cooling off poolside while enjoying a glass of bourbon. If you can’t find him there, check your local golf course.

David’s interest in cars began at the age of 16 when he purchased a 1969 Buick LeSabre, which he washed at least twice a week. The theme of autos continues through David’s life; he has worked in the transportation industry for 31 years. A Toledo, Ohio native, David and his wife Kimberly currently reside in West Chester, Ohio. David and Kimberly are proud parents to two sons and are joyous grandparents to three grandchildren. David enjoys driving his 2008 Mercedes-Benz E350 4MATIC with its panoramic roof. When he’s not attending MBCA events, David enjoys cooking breakfast one Saturday a month for his men’s group at his local church.

Lauren’s first sports car was a brand new 1976 Triumph Spitfire. Her second car was a 1976 Porsche 914 which she parted ways with in 2004. When Lauren tired of pushing her husband’s 1958 Austin Healy home, she decided to finally purchase her dream car, a Mercedes SLK 250, before she had to worry about fitting a walker in the trunk. Pianos are both Lauren’s profession and love. She sells them and is a Regional Sales Manager. Lauren also plays piano and has served on the Board of the Cincinnati Symphony Club since 2000. Her other hobbies include knitting, reading, fashion, playing bridge and working in the yard.
